Learn about the difference between finding passions and developing passions in this eight-week ceramics class for beginners. Participants will learn how to throw on a pottery wheel and how to apply decorative and other finishing touches in preparation for the kiln. The course also focuses on developing passions as a form of self care and the role passions, creativity, and play in individual and community wellness.
July 7th - August 25th
Sundays 4pm-7pm
Learn how to throw on a pottery wheel and how to integrate mindfulness practices into your clay work and your daily life. This is an eight-week course for adults looking to detach from screens and get into their bodies and senses. Each week will feature a lesson on ceramics as well as a lesson on mindfulness practices. Each weekly session is three hours, and participants will have access to open studio hours while enrolled in the class.

Continue developing your skills on a pottery wheel and learn about integrating spiritual mind, body, centering practices into your clay work and your daily life! This is an eight week course for students with some experience who want to take their skills to the next level. Each week will feature a lesson on ceramics as well as a lesson on centering practices.

Like our original Tablespace class, the focus is on making kitchen and tableware and how ceramics for the kitchen can support our social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness! This is an eight-week course for students with experience who want to take their skills to the next level. Each week will feature a lesson on ceramics as well as a lesson on the connection between tableware and wellness practices.
Learn the basics of handbuilding with Sara Hensel! Like the original Tablespace class, you’ll focus making kitchen and tableware and how ceramics for the kitchen can support our social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness! Instead of using the pottery wheel, you’ll be making tableware using handbuilding methods such as pinch, coil, and slab building. This is an eight week course for beginners or students with some experience. Each week will feature a lesson on hand built ceramics, as well as a lesson on the connection between tableware and wellness practices.
