pottery wheel FOR BEGINNERS
Our eight-week beginner wheel classes feature hands-on professional instruction with weekly lessons covering all of the basics. Each class also has a unique wellness component. Students have access to open studio hours while enrolled in the class and can expect to fire a few pieces to take home.

HANDBUILDING CLASSES
Our eight-week handbuilding class teaches ceramic methods including pinch, coil, and slab building and is suitable for all levels. Small class sizes mean lots of individualized support and students can expect to fire a few pieces to take home.
Mixed-Level WHEEL CLASSES
Our mixed-level classes are for beginners or people with some experience who want to revisit the basics of working on a pottery wheel and push their skills to the next level. Students in these classes have access to open studio hours while enrolled in the course, and can expect to fire a few pieces to take home.

This course focuses on creating kitchen and tableware, exploring how ceramics in the kitchen can enhance social, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness.

Intermediate CLASSES
Our intermediate classes are designed for people who are comfortable with the basics of the wheel (centering, throwing cylinders, trimming). In these classes, you can expect to deep dive into more challenging ceramic techniques and the science behind them.

This course will expand upon the foundations learned in our Tablespace class, taking on attachments, spouts, lids, multi-step projects, and more.

Cultivating Presence Through Clay

Explore the intersection of mindfulness and raku ceramics and learn to embrace the art of pottery as a form of mindful practice.
