Being part of a caring community
Prospective members should understand the basics of wheel throwing, hand building, or sculpture, and understand glazing and how to properly prepare work to be fired. One of our eight week introductory courses is typically sufficient.
Elemental Studios is a place for hobby potters and is not set up for production potters. We reserve the right to limit the amount of work a member fires each month.
Full Studio Access
Half Shelf + In Studio Wheel Usage + Glaze Lab Access + Firing

With this option, you'll have half a shelf for storage and unlimited access to the full studio including wheels, slab roller, extruder, community tools, and glaze lab with 12+ house glazes as well as slips, washes, and underglazes.
Clay and firing are are not included in membership. We stock a wide variety of clays for purchase in the studio. Firing is calculated at $.03 per cubic inch of kiln space (bisque and glaze).

Rent a Wheel + Glaze Lab + Firing

We’ll deliver a Shimpo VL Lite wheel and stool to your home and discuss how easy it is to set up a home studio when you don’t have to deal with a kiln and glaze. You'll also have access to the Elemental Studios glaze lab with 12+ house glazes as well as slips, washes, and underglazes.
