This three hour workshop led by licensed therapist and knitwear designer, Karel Chan, merges the worlds of knitting, mindfulness, and conscious awareness, We’ll begin with a guided meditation to bring you into a place of openness and receptivity, and then we knit!
 
With over a decade of experience as a knitter and a therapist, Karel creates a calming, supportive, and encouraging environment that facilitates challenge, mastery, and growth. This is your chance to learn and deepen knitting skills in an intimate group, with personalized 1:1 attention from a teacher to ensure integration and understanding of techniques.
 
This workshop is appropriate for complete novices who’ve never touched a knitting needle, as well as seasoned beginners who know the basic stitches. You will leave the workshop with all of the skills you need to finish making a cozy cowl (infinity scarf)!
